FHS Summer Institute
This is a month-long summer program for high school students. The program offers both credit recovery and original credit classes.
Credit Recovery Classes: These are designed for students who might be at risk of failing due to incomplete coursework or insufficient class time. Enrolling in a credit recovery class during the summer gives these students the extra time and support they need to complete their assignments or make up for missed classes. Successfully finishing these classes over the summer prevents the need to repeat the course in the next academic year.
Original Credit Classes: These classes offer great opportunities for students and families looking to get ahead. By enrolling in these classes, students can earn credits that count towards their graduation requirements. This option is ideal for students who want to complete certain requirements ahead of time, free up their schedule for a study hall or work-study in the following school year, or simply learn something new over the summer.
RFL Summer Program
Resiliency For Life (RFL) is dedicated to helping students reach their academic and social-emotional objectives. This program acts as a bridge to graduation and continues to guide students toward success in their future endeavors, whether in higher education or in rewarding careers.
