The Green-Fields Family News
March 2, 2024
Hello Everyone
Several times a year, I have the pleasure of visiting West Deptford High School for district meetings, training events, or maybe just to drop something off during the day. It seems that each time I'm there, something amazing happens...former Green-Fields students will approach me, say hello, and ask me if I remember them. As much as I would like to say "yes" 100% of the time, my answer is often the same...you look familiar...
You see, children change...not just in physical form, but socially, emotionally, and behaviorally. Over the years, they become better versions of themselves. I've found that this gives me a unique perspective when I look at our current students, and I simply have the advantage of knowing what they can become. And although this will sound counter-intuitive, I suppose it's a good thing that I don't recognize them when they're older. That's a good indication that we've sent them off in the right direction for success, and I'm always encouraged by what I see.
With that, I hope you enjoy the rest of the weekend with your future high school children, and be sure to keep scrolling for upcoming events and information.
Sincerely,
R. K. Corbitt, Principal
Mrs. Teresa Capocci, Assistant Principal

Lost and Found
We've collected quite variety of lost and found clothing items over the past few months. We are eventually looking to donate these items if they are not claimed. Please ask your children if they are missing anything and have them stop by the gym at some point this week to take a look for their missing items.
PTO Glow Party
A huge shout out to our wonderful elementary PTO for putting on an awesome Glow Party last night at WDHS! It was described as the hottest ticket of the year, and it certainly was! This is a HUGE amount of work, supervision, and behind the scenes organization, and we're grateful to all of our PTO leaders and helpers for what turned out to be an AMAZING event!
