What is a hobbit?
Hobbits (also known as halflings) are an ancient moral race, but their exact origins are unknown. They are smaller than dwarfs.
What does a hobbit look like?
Their average height of a hobbit is about two to four feet.
Where do hobbits live?
In the beginning of the book, hobbits lived in the Shire and in Bree in the north-west of middle earth. However, towards the end of the book, some hobbits moved to the Tower Hills and to Gondor and Rohan.
What are the character traits of hobbits?
Hobbits enjoying farming, food, ales, parties and giving/receiving presents. They are normally friendly despite their shy nature around Men. Hobbits prefer a quiet, normal, and peaceful life. A hobbits day consists of farming, eating, socializing, and smoking herbs, not really the adventurous life. If a hobbit feels pretty hungry they’ll have about seven meals a day. A hobbit will normally live in low buildings, hillsides, downs, and banks.

Are there different types of hobbits? Explain.
There are three types of hobbits. The most common is Harfoot, a smaller and shorter hobbit, that has brown skin and his very skilled with their hands and feet. The Stoors are broader and heavier than other hobbits and have bigger feet and hands. And Fallohides are the least common of the hobbit race, they have fair skin and are taller and slimmer than most hobbits.
