Plympton Family Update
March 1, 2024
From the Admin Team
Dear Plympton Families,
We had an amazing adventure on Wednesday to the Wheelock Family Theatre to see Mr. Popper's Penguins! Our PTO graciously provided copies of the book for each classroom so all students could experience the story ahead of time and get to know the characters. Drama teacher Lakyn Arrick put in a lot of time and effort writing grants to bring this field trip to students at no cost. We are so thankful to the organizations that helped make this magical experience possible for our students! Thank you to the Waltham Education and Beyond Foundation, Watertown Saving Bank, Waltham Arts Council & Mass Cultural Council, and the Plympton PTO!
The Waltham Fire Department was here today to teach fire safety to our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students. After a lesson, students participated in games and activities. Thank you Waltham Fire!
Next Friday will be Vocabulary Day! Please check out the graphics below for more information. We are excited about seeing some creative costumes!
Sincerely,
Adrienne Norris and Amanda Brennan

When your student's after school dismissal arrangements change, please send a note to your child's homeroom teacher. If you prefer to email, please also include our fabulous secretary, Mrs. Conneely, at meghanconneely@walthampublicschools.org. Mrs. Conneely and Officer Dani double check every bus list every day and cross check with the attendance for the Champion after school program to be certain kids are getting to correct location after school. Please make every effort to communicate any changes as early as possible. Calls after 2:30 slow down our dismissal process.
All student must ride the bus they are assigned. Students may not switch buses.
