Hey Leopards!
ASB would like to inform you that we have an Instagram account! When you follow our account, you can stay updated on the school’s events and activities! From knowing our newest Friday activity, to deadlines on ticket sales, sports games and tryouts and textbook check in, we want to keep you in the loop!
This is a PRIVATE account for your safety so we need to know who you are when you request to follow: please add your first and last name to your bio so we can confirm that you’re a Lewis student. Lewis parents can follow as well, just make sure their name is in their bio too!

Dance Ticket Sales Deadline
Attention Lewis Students!
Your LAST DAY to buy dance tickets is at lunch this Wednesday, 2/28! Tickets are $5 and Pizza presales are $1 per slice. The dance is this Friday, March 1st from 3:15-5:15pm on campus.
At the dance we will have a chance drawing to win a pair of shoes up to a $100 value and a dance contest to win a Nintendo Switch so come with your best dance moves! We will sell other snacks and drinks at the dance but pizza is only available for presale until Wednesday!
To be eligible to attend you must have no U’s from Semester 1 grades, less than 10 days of absences, less than 10 tardies, less than two suspensions, and no suspensions within the last 6 weeks (same as the End of the Year Activity requirements, pg 9 in the planner!). Unfortunately we cannot allow family or friends outside of Lewis to attend.

Attention 8th Graders!
Your 8th grade dance will be in June and Foundation would like YOUR help choosing a theme!
Please locate the Google Form on the 8th Grade Google Classroom to select your favorite choice for a dance theme.
Remember that End of the Year Eligibility will apply to be able to attend this free event!

CLUB NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS
Harry Potter Club
Hey Lewis students!
Do you love Harry Potter books and movies? Then you should join the Harry Potter Club! Our first meeting is this Tuesday, February 27 during 7th/8th grade lunch. We will be meeting in Room 218, Ms. Wilhite’s classroom.
Everyone is welcome to join! We will brainstorm ideas of fun activities for our club, so bring your suggestions.

Jewish Club and No Place For Hate
Hey Students,
From February 1 to February 29, Jewish Club and No Place For Hate will be doing a joint service project collecting items for the homeless. In Judaism, we believe in Tikkun olam, which is a mission to make the world a better place. Homeless people need some items and are constantly passed over every day. Show your love and donate. Some items we need are,
Hand Sanitizer (any size bottle, preferably small)
Toothpaste
Toothbrush's
Women's and Men's personal hygiene products (deodorant, etc...)
Socks!!
Make sure to donate before the deadline!!
All donations will go to homeless shelters in downtown. Please drop off any donations to Mrs. Allison's(room 104) or Mr. Olsen's(room 211) classroom.

Jewish Club!
Every Tuesday, we have our next Jewish Club meeting during 7/8th grade lunch in room 211. Everyone is welcome!
Rainbow Club
Every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday there is Rainbow Club/GSA/SafePlace in room 211. This is a place to have lunch for students who are LGBTQIA+ along with friends and allies. Everyone is welcome!
Higher Ground
Hi students and parents! Higher Ground Club is a space every Tuesday at lunch for students to come meet new friends, play games, eat pizza, and grow as students of character. We are a club facilitated by students, and directed by adults. We're really excited about this school year, if you have any questions please feel free to reach out at any time.
