Check-In Check Outs-Tier 2A
At Sevier, we really are surrogate parents to many of "our kids." If we don't support these students, then many would be without support. We work harder at Sevier than teachers who work at schools with more affluent demographics. It's a choice. Thank you for making that choice to support students. Our work is a high calling. Our kids deserve the best.
CALLING ALL SCIENCE TEACHERS....WOW (Way of the Warrior) Awards
Please remember to submit names for the WOW awards each week. Sometimes, unless we are intentional, we focus more on those students who are NOT making the right choices more than the ones who DO. Recognizing those who do the right thing MATTERS. It matters to those students and it creates a culture we we learn to see the positive and so do students.
This week is the week SCIENCE teachers will be submitting WOW names. Begin thinking about the two students you would like to nominate and look for the email from Mr. Roebke with the attachment to fill out.

JSMS Warrior ROCKstar of the Week-LUCAS TRENT! You ROCK, Lucas!
Sevier’s Rock Star
Congratulations to Lucas Trent, who is this week's recipient of our illustrious GOLDEN ROCK AWARD! Lucas is our Technology Warrior at Sevier. I have never seen Lucas when he has not had a smile on his face. He is always willing to help students and faculty alike. We recently had our system wide migration to Gmail and Lucas was available and willing to help us all. He also has a loving attitude toward all of our students at Sevier. I have heard students say that Mr. Trent is awesome because he is always willing to help them with technology issues. Lucas just has a kind and patient personality that is infectious to all who come in contact with him. He is a great example for us to follow here at Sevier, and that is why he is this week’s winner of the Golden Rock. -TONY WEAVER
