To Do List for the Week:
1. PROWL will happen this week for all grades until track and field starts up. Be sure to go over to the PE building and get the students you need to DRA. Make sure to update the literacy assessment spreadsheet as you finish DRAs.
2. Happy Teacher Appreciation! PTO is providing a meal tomorrow including wings. You will have Pasta Grill on Tuesday.
3. 5th and 1st grade block will swap on Monday - Wednesday due to MAP testing.
4. MAP testing for grades 3-5 is Monday through Wednesday of this week. Be sure to look at the MAP schedule sent out to know which cart you should have and which test to give. Set high expectations for students! Remind them of the incentives. We will draw for prizes on Wednesday afternoon.
5. PTO meeting this Tuesday at 3:40. Officers will be voted on for next year. PTO would appreciate your attendance.
6. Team meetings will take place this week and we will start class lists. Have your class index cards ready. Due to grade levels being gone different days, the schedule is as follows for team meetings:
Wednesday - 2nd - 5th grade at normal time
Thursday - 1st grade during morning block time due to Track and Field
Friday - Kinder during morning block time due to Track and Field
7. DSA is the other assessment along with DRA, nine weeks writing assessment and Dibels that needs to be completed.
8. Professional Learning Plans are due on May 11th in my box. Please make sure you have all your workshops on there, PGP goals, and sign it. Thanks!
9. Keep students engaged to avoid behavior issues.
10. Track and field block schedule will be sent out soon. I will send out end of year checklist on Friday.
Other Updates:
- Turn in all money to the office by 9:00 AM. Make sure you count this money prior to sending it down to the office and have the total written on a note. Let Mrs. Dunlap know if you have questions about this.
- Retention conferences will be held the week of May 14th. Please get the retention recommendation forms from the office and have them filled out and ready for the conference you schedule for parents. Please make a copy for my files and get it to me as soon as you have filled it out.
- There are many special events and field trips coming up after testing is complete. Please make sure you notify the cafeteria at least two weeks in advance of the dates you will not be eating in the cafeteria or dates you will need sack lunches made.
- Make sure your classroom doors are locked at all times.
