Week of 4/6-4/10
FACS- Mrs. Burton
This week Mrs. Burton’s classes will continue to examine safety by focusing on potential hazards in the kitchen and how to prevent them. The weekly Foodie Friday assignment can be turned in anytime. No need to wait until Friday! The recipes submitted by students are being compiled into a cookbook in hopes it will inspire them to try something new or revisit an old favorite. I will add the submitted recipes weekly. It is a work in progress, but is accessible in Classroom. This is another fun cooking resource Culinary Cooking Challenges
FACS- Mrs. Hertlein
Mrs. Hertlein’s FACS classes will continue on with the Foods/Cooking unit. For the week of 4/13, activities will reiterate the importance of Kitchen Safety & Sanitation. Shop 1/Shop 2- Mr. Kramer
This week Mr.Kramer's classes will start Unit:Ch 7 Chiseling,planing and sanding. Students will be able to Identify parts of a plane, types and grits of sandpaper and safe usage of chisels.
Student’s will read text , complete student workbook review questions for Ch 7, submit on google classroom.
Tech Ed 1- Mr. Rachal
Students are creating characters for a video game they will create. Students will create a protagonist, antagonist, and 3 objects. These creations will need different actions created as well (jumping, walking, and ducking). They will use a program called Pixel art to create their characters and objects.
