Club Sign Up Information
Dear Union Chapel Families,
Union Chapel is excited to offer a number of clubs for our Gators once again this year.
The sign up process is electronic through a program called Sign-Up Genius.
Sign-ups began on Friday, August 26th and will close on Friday, September 2nd. A lottery system will be utilized for all clubs if the number of students that sign-up exceeds the allotted number of participants. Please take time to talk with your child about his/her club interests and know that the sign up is NOT on a first come, first serve basis as we are using a lottery system if necessary. Club sponsors will identify the participants at the end of the sign-up window and will communicate with families.
Click here for club information and the Sign-Up Genius link for each club: Union Chapel Clubs Summary for 2016-17.pdf
Please contact the Union Chapel office at 359-4310 with any questions.

Growth Continues in the Park Hill School District
High school enrollment in the Park Hill School District is projected to increase to at least 4000 students within the next 5-10 years. In order to ensure there is enough space to accommodate such growth, a team of staff, patrons and students has been working on a proposed solution to address space concerns at our high schools. You might remember the three concepts that were presented to the community for feedback in May 2016. The input we received on each concept was then incorporated into our proposed solution.
We are at the point in this process where we need your feedback once more. You can read further details about the proposed solution by clicking here. You can take our survey by going directly here.
Thank you for your continued participation in this process. On behalf of the committee who has been working on this project for a year, we appreciate all of the input you have provided.
Respectfully,
Dr. Jamie Dial, Director of Secondary Education

Recognize a Park Hill Star from UC!
Last year, the PHSD implemented a new way of recognizing staff. The award recognizes employees who reflect our district’s values of continuous improvement, high expectations, integrity, visionary leadership and student focus. Anyone can nominate a pre-K or elementary teacher, a secondary teacher and a support employee for the monthly recognition. Find the nomination form here: http://bit.ly/2by4495
