Good Things
Parent/Teacher Conferences: It's been great to see so many parents coming into the building and hearing how well these visits are going. Thank you for this investment in the students and their families.

Congratulations to all of our Student Council members!
Our first service opportunity is to have these leaders help in the mornings with Pre-K car line and breakfast! In the car line, they will welcome the kids as they come in the building and assist with unloading if needed. As cafeteria helpers, they can help the younger students manage milk, cereal and clean up.... We are going to make badges and go over expectations next week. We will come up with a schedule so that all student council members can help be a part of this service project!

Reminders and Updates
New Laptops will soon be here! There is a guideline in RRE faculty email with information to attend to prior to returning the old one. We will give you a form next week with guidelines for updating your website. I'm sure Lori can help with this during her upcoming tech meeting!
2nd - 4th Grade: Continue to let us know if you have students who have a 0 in the grade book so that we can address that as a behavior issue. Thank you for working through the re-teach/re-test process. I'd like to put together a group of us that can also serve on a re-teach/re-test committee. Several have asked for a form and general guide for how to manage the process. This group of people could help provide that support. Let me know if you're interested!
Fall Fest: Send your booth info to Kathy in the office and be sure to get your Silent Auction item ready! It will be here before we know it!
Lunch/Cafeteria:
Thank you for being so prompt at lunch!!!! 2nd Grade is earning a Popcorn party! Each day one class (more if they are deserving) will earn a letter toward their POPCORN party!
The week of Oct 12-16 is School Lunch Promotion week! There will be an art contest with posters to promote the week, a classroom contest for the class that has the largest increase in school lunch purchase as well as a fun atmosphere promoting healthy choices with our superhero theme. We will have several local "superheroes" in the community and from the high school to help!
