Dates to Remember
3/11 - 3/15/2024 - No School SpringBreak
From Marcelle Healy
Dear Families,
I hope this message finds you well. As we approach the upcoming spring break, I wanted to share some important information with you. Please be advised that FSDB will be closed from March 11 to March 15 for spring break.
I want to acknowledge the hard work and dedication that our students have shown in their studies. They have been putting in tremendous effort, and it's important for them to take a well-deserved break during this time. We encourage you to use this break to rest, recharge, and enjoy quality moments with your family.
Thank you for your continued support and collaboration.
Best regards,
Marcelle Healy

March 2024
The James Hall girls have been great! They are showing great character. We had a workshop on the dangers of vaping that was conducted by our campus police. The girls were actively listening and asking great questions. This curriculum was very important for our high school girls.
We are continuing character traits; we are emphasizing honesty. Teaching our students the importance of being honest.
The following two students have been chosen by their staff for Student of the Month, Annabelle A. and Jahnea H. The girls have been super helpful and are always respectful to their peers and staff.
We have been invited to an ASL event in April to Nease High School. Nease HS is planning sidewalk games, providing dinner and ice cream for our students. The James hall staff will be sending permission slips home, this weekend, to be signed and returned.
For the past two weeks the Rhyne Hall boys have been busy. They have tutoring after school, sports practice, recreational activities, and going off campus with their groups. The boys also have been brainstorming on what to do for community service.
There will be a few field trips coming up after spring break. The boys are thrilled about it. We will keep you updated. And we will be doing a cookout and plan some outdoor games with the 8th graders; the Rhyne Hall boys will be their "big brothers" after the spring break. It will be fun!
We have implemented a new system of being able to document the different skills for our High school students. You will be able to access the boarding report cards online through Skyward. Staff are documenting the different skills you child is currently working on. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact the boarding supervisors.
Spring break will begin after today! We wish you all a wonderful break with your family
