Happy New Year!!!
News from Jack Anderson PTO
Welcome back! We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday with family and friends! It’s hard to believe it, but CARNIVAL is less than two months away!!
DON'T MISS our Carnival Kick-Off Lunch this Thursday, January 11, 10am-Noon in the Art Room! All classroom and PTO volunteers are requested to attend. We will discuss everything carnival from the auction and online bidding system, to the scavenger hunt and our EPIC event. Plus we will enjoy some fellowship time together and a yummy lunch! Please RSVP to jackandersonpto@gmail.com so we can get a headcount for food. We hope to have representatives from every classroom to ensure all classes have all of the information they need. We look forward to seeing you!
Also, make sure to mark your calendars for Carnival!! It's right around the corner. Friday, March 2nd (starting at 6:30) is our adult-only 'Epic Night of Giving' event with music, live auction, cocktails and great food. Then Saturday, March 3rd is our Carnival where Jack Anderson is consumed with games, concessions, silent auctions and tons of fun!
See you Thursday!!

As a reminder, please see the following excerpt from the JAE Student Handbook regarding cell phones and SMART watches.
Cell Phones & SMART Watch Policy
Cell phones are to remain “off” in backpacks during school hours and on the bus. If a cell phone is out, it will be collected and must be picked up in the office by a parent.
“Smart” watches are only permissible at JAE if
· Watches are turned to “airplane mode” (if equipped) during the school day
· Watches are used for the function of telling time only during the school day
· The owner of the watch is responsible for its uses
If the watch is used to send/receive text messages, emails, or other functions other than telling time, then the watch becomes a “device” like
a cell phone, and the current cell phone policy would apply
