9/11 The life changing event
By Charles Collins
What happened that day?
On the morning of September 11, 2001, two passenger jets heading from Boston to Los Angeles changed course and smashed into the World Trade Center in New York City. A third plane crashed into the Pentagon, outside Washington, D.C., and a fourth crashed into a field in western Pennsylvania after its passengers attempted to subdue the hijackers who had taken control of the cockpit. By 10:28 a.m., both towers of the World Trade Center had collapsed in a roar of smoking debris. The terrorist attacks--the most deadly ever on American soil--killed more than 3,000 people and marked a major turning point in the relationship between the United States and the Muslim world.

How did this change History?
In the United States, 9/11 was one of the biggest attacks on us, that being besides pearl harbor due to the U.S. not knowing either attack would take place and being attacked without a warning.
Rebuttal
Many people say that 9/11 wasn't a real attack. Some say that 9/11 was just a missile that was launched by George bush during his time in office. Other say that the twin towers were just blown up by a controlled explosion (a remote bomb). I believe 9/11 was an life changing event and it was caused by George Bush because he wanted to start war with other countries to stay in power of office.
