Archery
Congratulations to all who participated in the Youngstown tournament on Friday. A special shout out to Amelia Bietelspacher who was the top female archer of the tournament.

Grade 5 Science
Grade 5 science classes are busy raising trout for the Fish in Schools Program through Bow Habitat Station! They came to us as eggs, they are currently in the fry stage of development! The trout will be released into Michichi Reservoir early June!
Sr. High Girls Rugby
Practices for the Senior High Girls Rugby team (Gr. 9-12) have commenced and will run every Tuesday and Thursday from 4:00-6:00 pm.
Badminton
Practices for Badminton (Gr. 7-12) have commenced and will run every Monday and Wednesday after school.
Bantam Spring Football (Gr. 5-8)
Bantam spring football camp will be commencing on Monday, April 8 (weather dependent) for any interested students in Grades 5-8. Practices will be on Monday and Wednesday from 4:00-6:00pm. The athletes can get ready in the bantam changing room right after school. Practice starts at 4:00 pm.
To get fitted for equipment, come to the football equipment building (west side of school between parking lots ) April 1st or 2nd from 5:00-630pm or call 403-857-8880 if you can’t make these times. All equipment is supplied, all students need is a shirt, socks and water bottle.
There will be a Football Jamboree in Rocky Mountain House on Saturday, June 1st and this will wrap up the season.

JCC Archery Flower Fundraiser
The JCC Archery team is holding a flower fundraiser to purchase 3D targets for our team. Orders can be placed directly online at jccsgfarchery.growingsmilesfundraising.com or paper form with cash or cheques (JCC SGF) can be brought in to the school office. All orders are due on April 25. Flowers will be delivered on May 14.

Rehearsals will be Sunday afternoons and Wednesday evenings starting the end of April.

Notes: We are looking for a cast of 22 ( or more) for this junior version of Sister Act.
Cast members will be expected to learn their lines and music to make the best use of our time at rehearsals. There will be a school show on Tuesday, June 25th in the afternoon and a public performance on Wednesday June 26th.

We have booked a ski trip for students in grades 7-9 to Mount Norquay on Thursday, March 28. The bus will be leaving at 5:00 am for students that have signed up to attend.
