Come to the New World
By Bella Girard
Some things in common.
Most of the colonies have a good relationship with the Native Americans. All of the colonies used and traded natural and handmade resources. They also all traded tobacco and rice. Lastly, they all are in the Triangle Trade.
New England Colonies (Pilgrims and Puritans)
Some of the settlements are Pilgrims and Puritans. The land here is thin and rocky soil, thick forest, and it is near the Atlantic ocean coast. The climate is cool, but in the winter it is hard. Some of the jobs are: farmers, merchants, wood cutters, ship builders, fishers, hunters, and whalers. Some of the goods they make are: perfume, oil, tobacco, and ships. Some of the things they traded are: timber, grain, tobacco, ships, water, and rice. Some of the natural resources are: fish, whale, and wood/timber. Their culture was puritan: a person who doesn't want to practice the Catholic religion because they didn't believe the religion New England said they had to practice. They also have a government, and also freedom of religion, and no slavery.
