Multiple Intelligences
Howard Gardner's Theory
Dr. Howard Gardner
Dr. Gardner was an education professor at Harvard University when he grew tired of the traditional notion of what was considered "intelligent." Gardner developed a more specific method of measuring intelligence, which tests eight different types of intelligence which contrasts traditional tests that only measures one type. His theory of multiple intelligences was published in 1983 and continues to be utilized today.

Lets Practice!
After taking the test, at your tables, briefly share which intelligences you identify with most and which ones you identify with least.
Then take a few minutes to discuss how you would teach a student that identified with the intelligence in which you identify with the least.
