Collection boxes will be placed throughout the building (bus platform, Main Office, AM holding areas, Team areas, and the Health Office) Wednesday morning.
Please remember schools throughout Bucks County are participating in "Operation Helping Hand." If everyone in our building donated 1 item we would be able to donate over 1200 items to help others in need.

Holicong Students Are Published!
In English class, all of the students on team 7-2 wrote personal narratives that were submitted to a contest held by Creative Communications, a company that publishes a yearly anthology of student writing. Seventy-three students' stories were selected for publication. All of the winners were proud and excited when they found out that their stories had been chosen.
Trebuchets on Team 7-0
On Friday, March 22, Team 7-0 students connected science with social studies as they experimented with the science behind trebuchets, a medieval war machine used in the Middle Ages to topple castles. First, working in small groups, students used miniature wooden trebuchets to collect data as they hurled projectiles (wooden balls). To discover which variables affected the distance the projectile would travel, students experimented with counterweights, mass, and the angle of the prong on the throwing arm. Groups then used their data to position their trebuchet to rescue Lady Madden by toppling King Willard's Lego castle. Later, students accessed an online trebuchet simulation game that enabled them to experiment again with the variables that affect the distance and energy produced by the trebuchet.
Mrs. Donna Radice Named PA School Nurse of the Year!
Mrs. Donna Radice, Certified School Nurse at Holicong Middle School, has been named PA School Nurse of the Year. Along with the outstanding service she gives to Holicong, Mrs. Radice has served on several board positions within the local Certified School Nurses’ Association. She also serves on PSEA’s professional Rights and Responsibilities Committee. Mrs. Radice's greatest contribution is in the work she does with our students each day. She has a caring and empathetic nature and is an important member of the student support team at Holicong Middle School. She is a problem solver and other nurses look to her for advice and guidance.
She is a member of Holicong's Safety Team, the building and district Wellness Committees, she teaches CPR, and is the nucleus for Holicong’s community outreach programs. We are fortunate to have Mrs. Radice at Holicong!
