LGBTQI Community Dinner
We Hope You Can Join Us
LGBTQI Community Dinner
The Center for Intercultural Life (CIL) in collaboration with the Human Rights Center and Common Ground invites LGBTQI identifying faculty, staff and students to a community building dinner on February 6th, at 6:00 PM in the Lincoln Room.
**Doors will open at 5:45PM**
Knox has had an increasing population of LGBTQI identifying students and we are hoping to build a stronger intergenerational LGBTQI community with students, faculty, and staff. We believe this would allow for a stronger sense of safety, inclusion and solidarity on our campus and in our campus community.
While we appreciate friends and allies to the LGBTQI community, this initial event will be for members of the community. There will be events hosted at a later date that will include friends and allies. Thank you!
Dinner will be provided by the Center for Intercultural Life. Contact Tianna Cervantez, tcervant@knox.edu with any dietary preferences. Programming will be lead by the Human Rights Center and Common Ground.
Please rsvp by January 31, 2019. Reservations are needed for an accurate meal count.
