Launch

Inside the Gemini spaceflight
This is a diagram of the inside of the Gemini capsule. It shows where the astronauts sit, along with where the parachute deploys from.
First US spacewalk
Ed white was the first US astronaut to "space walk." He went a crossed the whole USA and the Gulf of Mexico while he was on his spacewalk.
Gemini I and II
Gemini I and II were unmanned spacecrafts. Gemini I launched 4-8-64 and reentered earths atmosphere on 4-12-64. Gemini II launched 1-19-65 and splashed down the same day.
Gemini III and IV
Gemini III was the first US spacecraft to fly out of the atmosphere with a human. Gemini IV had the first spacewalk in US history. Gemini III held Gus Grissom and John Young. Gemini IV held James Divitt and Ed white.
Badges
There was a total of 12 Gemini missions. The reason why there is only 11 badges in the picture is because Gemini I was unmanned, so was Gemini II but they decided to give it to mission control.
