This week the third, fourth, and fifth grades participated in the Tri-County Science Olympiad held at Siena Heights University. There were 15 third grade teams, 15 fourth grade teams, and 13 fifth grade teams that participated. The students represented Sacred Heart very well. The third and fourth grade teams both placed fourth overall as a team. The following is a list of individual events and how our teams placed.
Third grade:
Chopper Challenge - 7th place - Dominic Moreno
Michigan Plants - 5th place - Jessa Kimling and Max Shaw
Rockhounds - 5th place -Richard Walworth and Max Shaw
Tower Challenge - 2nd place - Marley Sallows and Cooper Vance
Write It, Create It - 1st place - Claire Sanborn and Piper Strong
Fourth grade:
Bridging the Gap - 2nd place -Carter Hart and Dodge Root
Who's There? - 5th place - Carter Hart and Chase Tedder
Bugs - 5th place - Carter Hart and Dodge Root
Write It, Create It - 6th place - Evie Czeisperger and Brynn Kratz
Fifth grade:
Michigan Fish - 5th place - Paisley Shaffer and Kingsley Shaw
Body Inside and Out - 5th place - Paisley Shaffer and Casie Parker
Tower Challenge - 7th place - Brylee Luma and Kingsley Shaw
Food for Body and Thought - 6th place - Brylee Luma and Anze Williams
Congratulations to all the students who worked hard to prepare (including those who were sick and couldn't join us), did their best, and had a great time. We are proud of all of you!

Sunday, March 17th- Rite of Enrollment at 11:00 Mass
Tuesday, March 19th- at 6:30. Please come to the 5:45 Mass if you are able.
Sunday, April 14th- Religious Retreat. Church Hall 12:00-3:00. A parent (or adult) is required to attend with your child.

March 14th- All School trip to The Croswell. We leave at 9:00 and will return by 11:00ish
