Founders' Fun Day
Parents and families are welcome to join in on the fun!
We Need Helping Hands!
We're looking for volunteers who can...
- assist with supervising events
- help prepare lunch and cook on the grill
- set up and clean up
- transport items to event locations
- and more!
Lend us your gear!
- If you have a truck or trailer, we could really use your help with transporting items.
- We will need plenty of coolers to store water, ice, and food items.
- Pop-up tents for shade would also be helpful!
- We would also appreciate any donations of water bottles to ensure all students can stay hydrated while they're out in the sun all day.
If you'd like to sign up to volunteer, please email: sbaffoni@beaconart.org.
Beacon & Founders Food Pantry Start-Up! Donations Needed!
In order to collaborate with the Rhode Island Food Bank and access their food supplies, we need to start-up and run the food pantry program for a three month trial period. We hope to start the food pantry program over the summer and give bags of food to students to ensure they have plenty to eat while school is out.
If you would like for your student to receive food bags to take home while school is out, please email: foodpantry@beaconart.org. Please be assured that your students' privacy will be protected. Only the adults preparing the food bags will know who is receiving them, and they will not share that information.
We're seeking non-perishable food donations to begin stocking our food pantry. No glass jars, please! Donations can be brought to the Beacon main office during normal school hours.
Suggested food donation items: boxes or individual servings of cereal, boxes of macaroni and cheese, bags or boxes of pasta, canned sauce, canned vegetables, juice boxes, canned soups, packages of dried noodles, canned tuna and chicken, peanut butter, non-perishable snacks, and canned fruit.
Founders Academy at Beacon Presents: Shakespeare in the Park!
