MHASD Advanced Learning News
September
Welcome back!
This summer a group of educators, parents and a high school students teamed up as the Gifted and Talented District Work Group. We started with a survey to the families of the identified advanced learners to see what went well with virtual learning in the spring, and what needs we could address this school year. We decided to increase standard communication to parents (with newsletters like these!), continue to offer our extension and enrichment programs that have historically been in place, and find ways to do even more to support our advanced learners in the upcoming school year. A special thank you to our work group members for their continued support for our programs.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns as the year gets started. We're all in this together and we want to work as a team to support our students.
