A Message from the Director...
Dear Career Tech Students and Families,
As we enter the final stretch of the school year, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the amazing journey we've been on together and look ahead to the exciting opportunities that await us in the final quarter.
I have to say, I'm so impressed and proud of every single one of our Career Tech students. The dedication, hard work, and perseverance throughout this semester have been truly inspiring, and I know you'll continue to do great things in the weeks to come.
Remember to stay focused and motivated, and make the most of every opportunity to learn and grow. Whether you're preparing for competitions, completing projects, or mastering new skills, every step you take brings you closer to your goals and aspirations.
Let's keep supporting and uplifting one another, celebrating our achievements, and facing the challenges ahead with confidence and determination.
Wishing you all a successful and fulfilling end to the school year!
Kind regards,
Stephanie Bigelow M.A., L.P.C.

Fire Chiefs come to Ford Tech
As the school year is quickly coming to a close, our students are getting ready for the next phase of their lives. Two of our firefighting students were invited to interview for firefighter jobs next week. Real jobs. They needed experience in the interview process, as their interviews for employment come up next week. Fire Chiefs from across the state agreed to come to prep them for their potential employment.
Today, three Fire Chiefs came to William D Ford to conduct interviews (Chief Kurek, Chief Schmaltz, and Chief Fronimos). It was amazing. Some of the Chiefs drove over two hours to get here, just to help our students. Another gave up his family’s spring break day to participate. That is dedication.
Our students learned so much, and it really helped to get them ready. We are so grateful to the Fire Chiefs for helping us out, and we are hopeful for our students.
