Local Scholarships for Class of 2024
The Mansfield local scholarships will be available through SCOIR beginning March 1st. Please do not miss out on this great opportunity to access scholarship funds to help support your college education. We are so fortunate to have generous sponsors across the Mansfield community who value the opportunity to support our students. Below is key information to help students access applications and supplemental material.
- Students were sent information with a spreadsheet of all the local scholarships and the link to request transcripts through their Counseling Google Classroom on March 1st. Students can also find the Local Scholarships List on SCOIR under "My Drive"
- To access applications, students must access the documents through their MHS google account as they are only available to individuals with an MHS gmail address. Please note that students cannot share applications with individuals that do not have an MHS email address as they will not be able to open the shared document.
- To request transcripts, students must access the google form through their MHS gmail account. Students are responsible for picking up their transcripts. We do not email them when it is ready due to the volume of requests. Please allow 3-5 business days for your requests to be processed.
- If students require a letter of recommendation for their application, they will need to reach out to their recommender (teacher, coach, advisor etc...) directly to request a copy of their letter. Please make the request a minimum of 5 business days before the letter is needed.
If families have additional questions, please reach out to the school counseling department.

Mansfield Model Senate 2024
The 55th Mansfield Model Senate was held on March 13th in the MHS Media Center. 28 delegates vigorously debated 12 bills. Model Senate is a unique part of the Mansfield High School Social Studies curriculum that began in 1968. This program exposes United States History I students to the legislative process. Students identify a problem, concern, or need they care deeply about. They then research and develop a bill that can help address the problem. Bills are presented, debated, and defended in class. Each class chooses one bill to attend the schoolwide competition. The Mansfield Model Senate then concludes with the selection of delegates who represent Mansfield High School at the Hockomock Model Senate. Eighteen MHS students will now represent MHS at the Hockomock Model Senate that will be held on April 9th-10th at Foxborough High School.
