What is Baroque Music?
Baroque Music is a western style of music that came immediately after the renaissance and was immediately followed by the rise of classical music. It was the first time that instrumental music had been considered important in Western Europe.

How did it sound?
Based off of the limited -- but amazing -- experience I have with listening to such music, I can tell you that the type of music encompasses a large range of feelings and instruments. Some of the songs utilize lyricists while others are solely instrumental, however either of the two styles can be any mood. I listened to both, slower more sentimental pieces and quicker tempo-ed celebratory pieces that leave the listener feeling enlightened.
