Learning was exciting and FUN this week!
Kindergarten began their colors unit and are getting into the routine of PROWL in the morning! They have been engaged in STEM activities each morning and we are proud of their hard work! The colors unit will continue this week. See the schedule below:
1st graders are reading Junie B. Jones A First Grader at Last. Don't forget to ask them how it feels to be a big FIRST GRADER so far! Some first graders got to try out centers last week and they loved it!
2nd grade students have been using tiny mirrors to watch themselves pronounce sounds. This is a great way to ensure they see similarities and differences in how we form sounds with our mouths. AND they look cute doing it!
3rd grade students were learning about different environments for living things. Students even illustrated their own coral reefs!
4th graders have been practicing multiplying by 10 and 100. This has allowed them to review place value, which is a key concept as they continue building math skills.
5th graders started their novel Wonder. Mrs. Crass' read alouds are engaging and relatable to all kids! They also learned a new procedure for starting their learning "like a champion". Ask your student about the sign outside Mrs. Crass' door.

- Please remember: morning car drop off begins at 7:30 a.m. Instruction begins at 7:50 SHARP and tardies begin at 8:00. Please have your child to school by 7:50.
- Cell phones are not allowed to be used in vehicles on school campus when children are present. This is state law.
