Principal's Message
Dear SFX Family,
#iGiveCatholic is the official Catholic initiative of Giving Tuesday, which is a national day of observance for making gifts to nonprofit organizations. Giving Tuesday is observed every year on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, which is November 30 this year.
St. Francis Xavier School will be participating again this year with the goal of completing our Annual Fund. Usually, parents and guardians are asked to contribute at least $125 to the Annual Fund in August. Recognizing that many things are due at the start of a school year, we decided to focus the Annual Fund efforts on #iGiveCatholicDay. This allows us to:
- postpone the giving to alleviate pressure in August, and
- take advantage of the matching gifts option and prizes of #iGiveCatholic Day.
Each year the Annual Fund helps us to close the gap between what it costs to educate a student at St. Francis Xavier and what we charge in tuition. We are most grateful for your generosity and support so that we can continue to grow and offer the very best to our students, faculty, and staff.
ADVANCED GIVING is taking place now! Schedule your donation here.
Please check with your employer to see if they have a matching gift program. If you need assistance with this, please contact Cindy Bird, Business Manager, at 834-0340.
MARK YOUR CALENDAR: #iGIVECATHOLIC DAY IS TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 30, 2021
