Reilly Register
Community Newsletter
Hello Reilly Community,
It was a very difficult week for our students and staff as we dealt with another tragedy in our community over the weekend. The district resources available at school this week for our students, staff, and caregivers were helpful in supporting the needs of our students, staff, and caregivers following this devastating event. If you are still interested in accessing support for yourself or your child, or are wondering how to talk with your child about this tragedy, please do not hesitate to contact the school at any time. Out of respect for the student’s family and at the request of local police authorities, we are not able to publicly disclose the name of the student who has passed. We will work as a community to memorialize this student and hopefully honor their passion for reading and our library. Please know that, as always, the Reilly School community is strong and we are here to support you and your child in any way that we can.
Our grade 4 promotion ceremony will be on Friday June 17th at 1 PM. More details to follow.
Please see information below regarding summer school registration.
Our last grade level performance will be on Friday June 7th featuring our Kindergarten. The performance will also be broadcast on YouTube. A brief Kindergarten awards ceremony will immediately follow the performance. This is a correction from the date previously posted. Sorry for the confusion.
Enjoy the weekend!

Principal
Summer School Registration
Dear Reilly Parents,
We are excited to offer a program, free of charge, for students in grades kindergarten through fourth this summer. The summer program will begin on July 8, 2024 and run through August 2, 2024 from 8:30 A.M.- 12:00 P.M. The focus this summer will be continuing the academic progress that was made during the school year as well as some fun project based learning. The students will participate in literacy rich activities and mathematics games to reinforce foundational skills. Our goal is to establish small targeted intervention groups within classrooms focusing on the needs of each individual student. Let us help your child be SUPER ready for the next academic school year.
If you are interested in registering your child for the summer program, please use the link:
and complete the application process. Transportation will be provided to students that are eligible per Lowell Public School Policy. Once the application process is complete you will be informed whether or not your child qualified for transportation.
The Busy Bee Program will be offered after the summer program through the Lowell Recreation Department. Please register at Lowell Parks & Recreation, Shedd Park Busy Bees Program
(Promo Code: Belvidere2024) if interested.
