Message from the Principal
Good evening Mustangs!
This week, I want to remind everyone that with just five and a half weeks left in the school year, the finish line is fast approaching. For our seniors, graduation day is even closer - mark your calendars for Monday, June 3rd, 2024!
We're currently in the thick of testing season, with CAASPP exams wrapping up and AP exams about to begin. Following that, seniors will have their final exams, and all other students will take End of Course Exams.
End of year and Senior activities are also right around the corner. It’s almost time for Prom, Grad Nite and Senior Sunset!
Here at Otay Ranch, we understand that this can be a stressful time. But remember, all your hard work throughout the year will pay off! To ensure everyone ends the year strong, I want to encourage you to:
- Keep working hard: These next few weeks are crucial for solidifying your understanding and achieving your academic goals.
- Seek help if needed: Don't hesitate to take advantage of our morning and afternoon tutoring sessions. Our dedicated teachers are there to support you!
- Communicate with your teachers: If you're feeling overwhelmed or unsure about anything, reach out to your teachers. They're here to help you succeed.
By working together, we can all finish the school year on a positive note.
Let's go Mustangs, let's make it a great finish!
Sincerely,
Julio Alcalá
Principal, Otay Ranch High School

Student Parking Registration
Mustangs,
To increase our efforts in ensuring the safety of our campus, we began issuing student parking permits at the ASB Finance windows (the ones that face the main office).
In order to get a parking permit, you will need to fill out the following registration form: Parking Permit Registration
(You must sign in with your Student Google Account)
After the form is completely filled out, you may come to the Finance windows and show your Valid Driver License. You will then be issued a parking permit that must be hung on your rear view mirror anytime you park on campus.
After a two week grace period, any car parked in student parking lots without a student parking permit will be subject to be being towed at the owner’s expense.
If you have any questions please let me know.
