Hello Baker Prairie Community!
Well, there is no experience like Valentine's Day at a middle school! It's fun to see kids care and kindness towards others. In addition to Valentine's Day, we celebrated some academic achievement this week, as well as began boy's basketball. See below for your last chance to sign up for the technology parent night with Dr. Doreen (RSVP required).

Honoring Academic Achievement
This week we recognized 171 of our Baker Prairie students for their Semester one outstanding academic achievement. We had 126 students that received all A's and B's with GPA's ranging from 3.0 to 3.86. We had an additional 45 students that received all A's and a GPA of 4.0. Congratulations to all the students and a job well done. We are hoping to have more students join this list Semester two!
Chaperones Needed
Parent Chaperones are needed for our March 1st Neon Night Dance. If you are interested, please let Nancy Dula know at nancy.dula@canby.k12.or.us. Volunteer application and background check will need to be completed prior to the dance.
If your student would like to participate in any of our after school activities it's not to late.

Boy's Basketball

BPMS Parent Night
Dr. Doreen Dodgen-Magee will be back at Baker Prairie, February 21st, to speak to parents about technology and kids. She speaks nation-wide on this issue. If you are interested in attending, please RSVP (see below).
