Cedar Grove Friday Flash
January 26, 2018
Dear Cedar Grove Families,
Last Wednesday, we enjoyed another wonderful evening of music at Clarksburg High School as our instrumental music students, combined with musicians from our cluster schools, performed for their families and school staff. Our students should be proud of their efforts, and we are especially thankful to Mr. Gillenwater for all of his hard work in preparing students for evenings such as these.
Digital Citizenship begins the week of February 5. The program, which was launched last year and in partnership with Common Sense Education, provides students with the resources and information they need to behave safely and responsibly with technology and social media. In celebration of Digital Citizenship Week, children can participate by wearing the clothing items shown below.
Monday - Know You Digital Footprint - Crazy socks day: Wear crazy socks
Tuesday - Highlight & Cite Your Sources - NEON colors day: Wear neon colors
Wednesday - Stand Up to Cyberbullies - Cyberhero day: Wear superhero shirts
Thursday - You’re Never Hidden Online - Camouflage day: Wear camouflage
Friday - Always Be a Responsible Digital Citizen - School Spirit day: Wear CGES colors
Thank you to our families for saving and turning in box tps. The money we received from this program enabled us to provide Math Olympiad, a high level math problem solving program, to our 4th and 5th grade students. Please continue to save and bring in your box tops!
We hope you have a wonderful weekend!
