Women's History Month
March marks Women’s History Month, a time set aside each year by presidential proclamation to honor countless women’s contributions to American history. So many trailblazers and unsung heroines are to thank for the rights and opportunities girls and women enjoy today. Throughout this month of March, our students will celebrate women in history who - despite great obstacles - altered the course of our nation and set the stage for future generations to continue this work of gender equality and equity. In the classroom, students will enjoy read-alouds and biographies about incredible women in history, watch videos that bring these women and their contributions to life, engage in special activities, and more. I encourage you to connect with your child/ren on the topic; you can find some great resources here.
5 Essentials Survey
Please click on the link below to a letter regarding an important survey for our school. The results of this survey will be included as a portion of our official School Report Card and school ranking next fall. As a result, your participation and input is important, as we need at least 20% of our parent population to participate.
The survey will be open until March 29, but please take a few minutes to complete the survey as soon as possible. It takes approximately 10 minutes to complete.
