The Roadrunner Report

Soaring Toward Success!
Greetings Roadrunners,
Last Friday, we had an absolutely exhilarating celebration that I'm thrilled to share with you all!!
Our Dean of Students, Mr. Caccavale, took to the skies above our school field alongside the Civil Air Patrol, providing an awe-inspiring experience for our students. The sight of Mr. Caccavale flying over the school field was a moment of pure excitement and wonder for everyone involved. It was an event that truly embodied the spirit of adventure and exploration that we aim to instill in our students.
Moreover, I am delighted to announce that our students went above and beyond during Read Across America Week. Together, they read an astonishing total of over 10,000 minutes! This achievement is nothing short of remarkable, and I couldn't be prouder of their dedication to reading and learning.
Our theme for this academic year is aviation, and the quote that has been guiding us on this journey is "We feel the need...the need to succeed." The incredible success our students achieved during Read Across America Week perfectly embodies this sentiment. Their determination, hard work, and enthusiasm have propelled them to reach new heights, and it's truly inspiring to witness, and led to the reward, which was getting Mr. Caccavale to take to the air, and soar because of our success.
As parents and guardians, your support and encouragement play a crucial role in our students' academic success. I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your ongoing support and for entrusting us with the education and well-being of your children.
Let's continue to soar to new heights together, fostering a love for learning and achievement in our students that will last a lifetime.
With warm regards,
Bobbi Cerro Proud Principal Mirage Elementary School
