Micro Christmas Parade
We have a fun and busy week ahead of us. I hope you enjoy all of the festivities and that you have a great week. I recommend over-planning and maintaining your routine as best as possible.

Christmas Spirit Week
We will have a hot chocolate and apple cider bar set up in the office area during all week. Please come by the office in the mornings to get a warm treat and begin your day in a fabulous way!
Tuesday: Tinsel Tuesday - Let’s dress as shiny and bright as tinsel on the Christmas Tree today!
Wednesday: Ugly Sweater Day and Potluck and Duty Free Lunch
Thursday: Grinchmas Day - Let’s dress up to represent your favorite character from How the Grinch Stole Christmas!
Friday: Winter Wonderland - Let’s wear our winter/holiday hats, scarves, socks, etc. to make us feel like we are in a Winter Wonderland today!
Our School Improvement Team decided to keep the ongoing tradition of the Holiday Sing-A-Long at Micro alive. Our Enhancement Team will be hosting our kids in the cafeteria on December 21st. The kids really enjoy the Sing-A-Long!
Mrs. Warren has volunteered to have activities in the media center for any students who does not participate. Please reach to out parents if you are unsure and send students who do not participate to the media center for the alternative activity during the Sing-A-Long.

- If you are having a class party this week that may require a class sign-out sheet, please contact Mrs. Frazier.
- We received word that the day we lost power would be waived and not made up for students. As you should be aware, that day has been considered an optional teacher workday.
- Staff: There are members of our staff who have requested voluntary shared leave. If you are interested in donating any time to them, please see Mrs. Creech.
- JCPS has a PBL Unit Submission form. They are building a database of quality PBL's. Use this form to share.
A High School Principal asked his staff to identify a student who inspired them to come to work each day. The teachers were filmed as they shared their messages.
