General Safety Reminders: Please help us keep your children safe by following all traffic rules during the early morning drop-off time and dismissal
- Students are not allowed to enter the building before 7:30 a.m. There is no supervision until that time.
- Do not park and abandon your vehicle in the designated drop-off/pick-up lane or in the bus bays. This causes major problems during drop off and dismissal. Please use either parking lots when visiting.
- Follow speed limits in the “School Zones”.
- Ask your child to walk home in pairs or with groups of other students. There is safety in numbers!
- Encourage your child to report all injuries or unsafe conditions to any adult on campus. If we do not know about circumstances when students are unsafe, we can’t intervene to help.
- Always walk your child into the office when they are tardy. This is a District policy that is in place to keep your child safe. Never have your children walk to school alone when they are going to be significantly tardy.
- Parent pick-up students must be picked up in designated area in front of school. You are welcome to sign students out before dismissal when appropriate. Please keep in mind instructional time runs up to 2:40 p.m.
- Parents/Guardians MUST call the office when making a change in dismissal procedure. Thank you for helping us keep your child safe!
