Colonial Day is next Friday!
Details:
There will be a gift shop that every student will get to visit. If you are okay with your student purchasing you may send in some money. I wouldnot send in more than $20. It is like a Colonial dollar store.
All students should come dressed up like a colonist to school and dresses for whatever weather is occuring that day. We will be outside most of the day.
The event last all day long....from 9 -2:30 usually.

This week in Language Arts...
Language Arts - The Genre Bingo finish line is in sight! Cards will be collected next Friday for scoring. Students were required to record 5 additional books for a total of 10 so far this year. It is important that the rules found on the back are followed when filling in the cards. Parent initials are required in each box. Please remember that weekly reading status updates are due each Friday, as well. Your child will receive a grade at the end of the quarter that is an average of all the posts completed this quarter.
We held our classroom Spelling Bees this week. The winners are....(Flanter HR) Samuel Beasley, alternate, Brendan Eleson / (Carnazzo HR) Shay Neuhauser, alternate, Jake Schofield. The 1st place winners will complete in the school Spelling Bee in January. Way to Go!
You should see the purple READING BrainPop Board come home to finish over break if needed. It is due Jan. 8. A few students are already done, so this will not apply to them. Lastly, thank you for the donations to Toys 4 Tots, our 4th grade service project. We broke records!
