The Human Botfly is native to the Americas from Southeastern Mexico (beginning in central Veracruz) to northern Argentina, Chile, and Costa Rica

IT'S HOSTS
The Botfly can have many hosts since the carrier (a mosquito) can land on and give it to a wide variety of living organsims includin humans!
Special Adaptations
The Human Botfly does not have many adaptations since it is only found in certain areas of South America and one of its most useful adaptaions is its wings to fly and infect mosquitos.
Sizes
Adult Human Botflies are usaully the size of your thumb and larvae can be up to an inch long.
