Bismuth

Bismuth- period number 6, group number 15, and group name Pnictogen.
The name bismuth comes from a German word for white mass Weisse Masse which was later changed to Wisuth and Bisemutum. Bismuth occurs free in nature, but is usually mixed with different minerals.
History of bismuth
Bismuth was thought to be a heavy metal, but then they found out that it will decay over thousands of years. Bismuth was discovered by an unknown alchemist around 1400 AD.
Uses
Bismuth is used for electronics and is also used in fire extinguishers, along with some medical uses. Its also mixed with tin to make a low melting alloy. Bismuth has one of the lowest thermal conductivity out of all the metals.
