From the Principal...
Hello Seton Community,
Sometimes we need to take a moment to reflect on the many blessings that we have even when life is stressful and full of unknowns. I know that I have said it before, but I want to express my sincere gratitude for all that our school community has done and continues to do to help us keep our doors open and our students face to face. This school year will continue to be a community effort. While we are unsure of what will come, we will navigate the school year together.
We are blessed by our school community, our parish communities, our amazing staff, and the children that enter our building each day. Please continue to read our communications, follow COVID policies, and pray for our school.
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, pray for us.
Sincerely,
Dr. Stephanie Nardi, Principal

November is National Bullying Prevention Month---Free Webinar November 13
Help! I'm stuck in the social media merry-go-round!
About this Event:
Do you want to know more about the digital world your children are engaging in? Join us for a Parent & Guardian workshop about cyberbullying and digital citizenship for tweens and teens. Join us on World Kindness Day to learn more about this vital topic of our time and how to support your child.
The best remedy for cyberbullying is to invest time and energy in its prevention. In this workshop, parents of middle and high school students will learn how to help their children build citizenship skills in cyberspace that promote social and emotional learning and respect for diversity. The most powerful tool to combat cyberbullying is “upstanding” when kids stand up to the bully and for each other (also known as “cyberback”).
Also learn...
*What Cyberbullying is and isn’t
*How to bullyproof their children on their phone, tablet, or computer
*How to help their children navigate the ever-changing social media landscape as responsible digital citizens.

Thank You and Please Remember...
I am happy to report that we are still doing well under the current health crisis. Thank you for your patience and for your consideration for our school community.
I want to send out a couple of quick reminders as COVID numbers in the state continue to rise.
If a member of your household has symptoms or is being tested for COVID, do not send any of the household children to school until that family member has been cleared. The children may attend virtually.
If your child is required to isolate due to symptoms, Seton School does not require a COVID test for his/her return. We require a note or email from the child's physician that clears the child for return to school. This may mean that your child is required to stay home for 10-14 days. Please do not call your physician stating that school needs a test.
Keep in mind that a COVID test can be taken too early. A test taken right after exposure may not actually mean you are negative. Please consult your physician.
Please understand that Seton School is regulated by laws that prohibit us from sharing the personal medical information of any staff or students. If there is any exposure or positive cases at Seton School, you will receive notification. Do not call or message asking about the medical status of staff or students.
Masks are required daily. Please be sure that your child comes prepared to school with a clean and well-fitting mask each day. We are seeing many more students with masks that fall off or with no mask at all. Staying safe and healthy is a team effort.
Thank you for helping us stay safe, healthy, and open. Please let Dr. Nardi know if you have questions regarding any of the reminders above. Have a wonderful day.
