MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Dear CMS Families,
It has been a busy 4-day week here at CMS. I want to highlight a few highlights from this week:
- The Jazz Band concert was a great success, and I especially loved the collaboration song between CMS and CHS. It's wonderful to see our students showcasing their talents and working together across schools.
- Our PE classes have successfully started ARCHERY thanks to the excellent work of Ms. Kenny, Ms. O'Brien, and Ms. Martin. Safety is always a top priority, and they have done a fantastic job teaching the necessary skills.
- Today, we conducted a successful tornado drill, ensuring that our safety protocols are in place and our students are prepared.
- The staff have been active in planning and coordinating many end of year activities to celebrate our successful school year.
NEXT WEEK, ALL students will be taking the English Language Arts (ELA) assessment. To ensure your child is well-prepared for these assessments, please help them by ensuring they:
- Get plenty of rest the night before each test.
- Eat a nutritious breakfast to fuel their minds and bodies for the day.
- Bring a fully charged Chromebook to school on testing days.
- Encourage them to put forth their best effort and stay focused during the assessments.
Throughout the school year, our teachers have consistently emphasized the importance of effort and doing their best. Please continue to reinforce this message with your child as they prepare for the ELA assessments next week.
Enjoy your weekend!
Mr. Tomco
