Harris Weekly Update
SEPTEMBER 6 - SEPTEMBER 10
REMINDER- LABOR DAY IS MONDAY, NO SCHOOL
Dear Hawk Families,
This school year we continue to work hard to keep our campuses safe and our students as healthy as possible. If Nurse Kaycee calls to inform you that your student is ill or that they have been identified as needing to quarantine please understand that we are following the guidance of the Maricopa County Department of Health and the CDC, and that this is required by the Arizona Department of Health. We understand that having your child home from school for an extended period of time can cause undue stress and we appreciate your support in following these required guidelines. Thank you for your understanding and support of our nurses, health assistants, and front office staff during this challenging time. They are all doing their very best for our families and it is important that we all work together.
Should you have questions or concerns please call the District Health Office at 480-545-2117

What Does It Mean To Be A Title I School?
Title I is the largest federal aid program for public schools. Schools can be designated as “Title I” if certain criteria are met. Title I is the federal government’s commitment to closing the achievement gap between low-income and moderate to high income students. These funds are used to help all students meet academic standards. Click the links below to learn more!
