Meet The School Council Candidates!
Luce School Council Candidates!
Elise Cedrone: K Parent
Hi everyone!
My name is Elise Cedrone and I am a RN and a Mom of 3. I am throwing my name in the ring for School Council Parent Representative.
I have experience as a Parent Contact and Member of the Parent Leadership Program for my son’s Early Intervention program for West Roxbury and the surrounding towns when we lived in Boston. While in this role I was able to increase awareness of issues important to families as well as utilize parent energy and input to make improvements to the EI program.
I also have experience as a certified-support-group-facilitator for the Alzheimer’s Association, so I am able to easily work within a group that is dynamic and collaborate with others in a positive way.
I am coaching kindergarten boys soccer for the town also, so safe to say I also have a sense of humor that will serve everyone well.
In my free time I like to cook, workout, and be anywhere outdoors with my boys.
I am a lifelong learner and I would be happy to learn how to best serve the school in this position.
I hope to do so with a lot of laughter, a lot of grit and a lot of grace.
Thank you for your consideration!
Frankie Joyce: 2nd Grade Parent
Kevin Vacca: K & 4th Grade Parent
I have three children that have benefited from the Luce school, its faculty, and the community. One has recently graduated from the Galvin, and one is at the beginning of her Luce journey.
As a local business owner, I’ve seen firsthand what happens when this community comes together with focused energy towards a goal.
The betterment of the future of our community is reliant upon the children in our schools now. By providing them with the best resources and programming now, the resiliency we so rely on will continue to be the cornerstone and strength of the Canton community.
I currently own and operate Copper City Espresso, a local coffee shop dedicated to fostering community connections and building a stronger community one individual at a time. In addition, I consult with Carol Cone on Purpose, a purpose-focused, marketing, and communications advisory service that delivers leading-edge solutions for mutually beneficial futures.
My goal is to create the brightest futures possible for Luce and its community of children and families.
