Mustangs, Yellow Jackets, and Avondale Community
This is a special Homecoming early edition of the AMS Newsletter! This week has been about celebrating our school pride and having fun with our classmates. We have had 6th, 7th, and 8th grade celebrations to accompany a fun spirit week! Tomorrow we have our Homecoming Pep Assemblies being held outdoors on our football field. Students were invited to volunteer for a chance to play in the spirit games and while cheering each other on in anticipation for the famous “Running of the Football”.
The cross-country team will be traveling to each building in the district to run the Homecoming game ball to the 7pm kickoff! What a great tradition this is to display to the community how we value staying connected as an Avondale Community.
Below Is all the times and place of the Homecoming activities. We really hope to see you at the parade, because “The Herd” of Mustangs is bringing some horsepower this year to fire up the crowd! See you there!!
With Mustang Pride!

SPECIAL NOTE FROM CHARTWELLS
Dear Avondale Families,
As the new school year gets under way, Avondale Food Service is experiencing unprecedented issues with the supply chain that will cause us to alter our posted menus with little to no notice. We are working closely with our distributors and manufacturers to secure both the food and supply items needed to support our program.
While it is our intention to serve the posted menu each day at every school, supply issues may not make this possible on any given day until supply chain issues are rectified. We will always attempt to substitute the scheduled menu item with another that is similar as possible to the extent we are able to do so. All students will continue to be offered meals that meet menu requirements, nutrition standards and student acceptability
We appreciate your patience and understanding and look forward to serving all our students' free breakfast and lunch this school year.
