BOT UPDATE
He whakahou mai i te Board of Trustees.
Our last meeting was on Monday 20 June, where we were updated on Grandparents Day and the planned Matariki celebrations. It’s wonderful to be welcoming our whānau back into school with less Covid restrictions.
We were delighted to hear that a $1,000 donation has been received from the Seagull Centre. This has been used – with thanks to the talented Jamie Quirk – to create new furniture in the Garden-To-Table area for sharing meals.
This month, the Board made a submission to the Hauraki District Council on the draft Speed Management Plan. Where it relates to the school boundaries and approach, we’re supportive of a reduced speed limit, improved signage and road markings, and a raised patrolled zebra crossing on Hauraki road.
If you’re interested in becoming a member, triennial Board of Trustee elections will be held on 7 September 2022. Our school benefits from a Board with a mix of skills and experiences, so look out for more information in the coming months.
Our next meeting will be held on 25 July at 5.15pm in the school staff room.
SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAMME
We will be running the school holiday programme from Monday 18th July - Friday 22nd July. 8.30am - 5pm. Limited spaces are available so please let us know if your interested. Thanks

We are conducting a survey that asks questions about your use of and opinions about the facilities. It will help our Council to decide what is needed in the future.

Complete the survey by 30 June and enter a draw for one of 10 family passes to Thames Centennial Pool.
