Note From the Principal
Please see the information below about our state mandated quarantine process.
Anytime we have a positive COVID-19 test for a staff or student we contact the Oklahoma County Health Department. They then work with us to identify students and staff members who had first-hand exposures. These students and staff members who had first-hand exposures are the ones who are required to quarantine by the Oklahoma County Health Department.
Students and staff members who had a first-hand exposure are required to quarantine for 14 days from the last time they were exposed. It is required for students/staff who are exposed to get a COVID-19 test five days or later after exposure. This test allows us to determine if we need to do further contact tracing. We strongly request that the student/staff also get a rapid test at the end of the 14 days to confirm they are still negative prior to returning to school.
Students and staff members who test positive must remain quarantined for 10 days. The reason this quarantine is shorter than exposure is the person who tested positive has already had the virus in them for several days before they tested positive. It is required for a student/staff member who tests positive to have a negative test at the end of their quarantine before returning to chool.
Even if you are not quarantined or if you were quarantined but it is over please do not come to school if you are experiencing any of the symptoms of COVID-19. We appreciate your help in trying to limit community spread within Deer Creek Schools.
Football Tickets
Tickets are sold out for tonight’s game. Anyone that pre-purchased tickets and did not pick them up yesterday will be available at the home gate tonight.
All high school varsity football tickets this year must be purchased through the online InTouch system. Our next home game is October 2. Tickets will be available to purchase online from Saturday, Sept. 26 - Wednesday, Sept. 30 at midnight. No tickets will be available to purchase at the game. We will have information about next week's tickets on Monday. It is likely that only families of participants will be able to attend.
New Check in/out Procedures
To increase social distancing, visitors are not allowed in the buildings. If you need to check-out a student, please scan the QR code and call the number on the sign for the office. Office staff will then send for your student while you wait in your car. When bringing your student back to school, please ensure they check in with office staff.
If your student is a driver, you can scan the code here and avoid needing to call the office.
Student Dropoff/Pickup
Parents, please do not park your car to drop off your student. Our lots are for Staff parking so they will be ready to start the day.
The Bus Loop on the north side of the building is for bus traffic only. Please do not drive in the Bus Loop during the day.

Deer Creek Communication Platform
Deer Creek School District is embarking on a new communication platform to include a Deer Creek App that is designed to enable parents, staff and students to stay informed and up-to-date on events, important issues, general information, emergency notifications and site based activities. The Deer Creek App will work conjointly with the SchoolMessenger App (registration only required one time) as a notification system. Once a parent has registered with the SchoolMessenger App, they will only need to use the Deer Creek App for all things Deer Creek!
