Mrs. Reiber's Apple Newsletter

Important Reminders
- Each night, the white folder will come home with your child, along with their agenda. The agenda will have assignments and spelling words written in it. The folder will have the actual homework papers and any other important papers to take home or to return to school. Thank you in advance for your help and cooperation.
- Homework this week: There is no official homework this week (we have such a short week with no school on Friday and a field trip on Tuesday). There will be a math test on Thursday so a study guide will come home ahead of time.
- October Scholastic book order forms will be coming home on Monday. I send a new book preview flyer home with each student on Mondays in case they'd like to browse for books. Books can be ordered online, the website and class code will be on the flyer. **We have earned FREE book coupons for October for every student -- if you would like to use one for your child, please message me or contact me and I'll be happy to send the coupon home in the white folder.**
PLEASE READ ABOUT OUR FIELD TRIP!!!!!
- Reminder: Our field trip to Ramseyer Farms is coming up on Tuesday, October 11th. We will leave at 8:35 sharp - please make sure your child is ON TIME to school on Tuesday or we may have to leave without him/her. Please dress your child for the weather - it looks pleasant right now for Tuesday's weather which is great, but please make sure your child wears something that can get dirty as we will be on a farm. Also, we will be eating lunch on our trip so make sure your child packs a bagged lunch (no lunch boxes, please send a bag that can be thrown away).
- There is no school on Friday, October 14th.
Thanks,
Mrs. Reiber

- Math - We will finish our unit about the properties of multiplication, division, and arrays. Students will take a math test on Thursday. A study guide will come home a few days beforehand so students can study.
