Rube Goldberg Creation
Hello, May!
Math:
We are working on our final unit and cannot wait to see the end! We are playing around with probabilities. And yes, I mean we are literally playing. We have created several spinners and are collecting date based on the different types and divisions.
Reading:
We were a little delayed with such a busy week, but are working on our Mystery books. A great amount of the class is finished, but in fairness, I will still give time on Monday for everyone to finish his/her book. Look out for a detailed rubric for our last and final book report! It's a fun one!
Science:
As you are aware, we are working diligently on our Rube Goldberg contraptions. Thank you for sending in supplies around the house. I was pleasantly surprised how quickly they got to work and started CREATING! May is so fun! They have all become very independent and need little prompting to be productive. I will have MANY more picture of their progress on the blog next week :D
Zionsville History Field Trip
A quick reminder - We will have our Zionsville History Walking Field Trip this Thursday!! Please, watch the weather reports to encourage your child to dress appropriately. He/She will also need a sack lunch. The school also prepares lunches if we have advanced notice, so please let me know if this is a preference.
Thank you, Rob Chagdes! Mr. Chagdes has diligently visited our classroom monthly and inspired each child to LOVE the history of our beloved Zionsville. His generosity is more than I could've imagine our class having this year. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!
