Grade Level Exhibitions
At Groves Elementary we are moving away from the traditional open house. We are choosing to have Grade Level Exhibitions. These are evenings planned by individual grade levels. Students are prepped to share their learning in different ways developmentally appropriate for the age level. A smaller audience on a given evening also allows for a less chaotic experience. Mark your calendars for the following dates:
K - December 6 6:00 - 7:00
1st - December 7 6:00 - 7:00
1st Spanish Immersion- November 30 6:00-7:00
2nd - December 7 5:00 - 6:00
4th - December 5 5:30 - 6:30
Rock Garden
You can still purchase rocks for the rock garden. Rocks purchased will be placed in the garden at a later date. Rock order form can be found here.

Junior Achievement
GE is in need of volunteers and mentors for JA! It is easy (all of the tools are provided for you), fun, and rewarding. We are looking for volunteers for Kinder through 5th grade. A short training session will be provided for all volunteers!
And don't worry, being a volunteer is not a huge undertaking. Each program has 5 activities which take approximately 30 to 45 minutes each. The volunteer will go into the classroom (in coordination with their respective teacher) once a week for 5 weeks (you choose the day and time that work best for you and the teacher).
Please email Jillian Morales if you are interested with your name, contact information, and grade/teacher that you are interested in mentoring. Thank you in advance for volunteering and becoming a positive role model for our children!
