WELCOME TO AN AMAZING YEAR!
We are all so excited to begin the school year. There was a lot of excitement today from staff and students. We will continue to support student in opening their lockers, getting to the right class and making sure that everyone gets lunch. The first few weeks are confusing and it can be difficult for students to know when they have lunch, but I promise your child will know where to go and how to get there in a few days.
If your child is late to school or you need to pick them up early, please call the office or write a note (can even be on a receipt or other scrap of paper you have in your car) so that we can excuse their absence and get them to class quickly. If we don't hear from you we will call you to let you know that your child was late to school. We try our best to have your student waiting in the office for you when they are leaving early for an appointment.
It is very important that we have your up to date email, phone numbers and address in PowerSchool, we frequently communication via text and email and we want you to know what's happening at Ryan.
It is going to be an AMAZING year! Don't forget to be someone's hero today.

Parent Drop-off and Pick-up Information
Morning Drop-off
Please pull up next to the curb so that your student does not need to cross between cars. Use the inside lane next to the curb for drop off and the outside lane for drive through. Students and adults should cross at the cross walk where there is a crossing guard.
Afternoon Pick-up
Please use the right lane while waiting for school to be dismissed and bumper up close to the car in front of you. When the car in front of you pulls out into the drive through lane, please move up and take their spot. Once your student is in your car, put your signal on and the person at the crossing will wave you into the drive through lane. It is important for your child's safety that you not stop in the drive through lane making your child cross between cars. If everyone uses the right lane and moves up when the car in front moves out, student loading will go quickly and safely.
Visitor Parking
Please do not pull through the visitor parking to pick-up your student. This slows down the traffic flow and often double parks visitors that are trying to leave. This creates a safety concern for students. The visitor parking is designed for guest presenters or families that need to come into the building.
