From Tim: Greeting from London and the Class of 2019
Top Five Things
1. Learn-Do-Become blog shows a year in the life of our Middle School
Culminating in the 8th-grade capstone trip to England, a Middle School year has a definite spirit and cadence to it: The exuberance of back to school, the settling determination and energy of the academic year and sports calendar, the rushing days of the end of the school year; Head of Middle School Greg captures it in photos. Take a look at stanleybps.org/learndobecome.
2. The Library's calling...
...it wants its books back! All library books are due back to Allan by May 20 – that's Monday! To replenish your supply in time for summer reading, Stanley invites you to swap or just pick out free books from our community gathering space next Thursday and Friday, May 23-24. Stanley says: You don't have to donate to pick out new books!
3. Inflatable fun for our middle schoolers
After school Tuesday, May 28, ALL 6-7-8 students can have fun in the sun with their teachers right our backyard. Fun Productions is delivering some of its most popular inflatable games – everything from putt-putt and Zorb globe riders to rock-em sock-em jousting. The cost to participate in this buy-a-share is $40 online. We hope all 6-7-8s will join; email the Office of Community Engagement if you need comp tickets.
4. Student portrait artwork beckons K-5 families
K-1-2 and 3-4-5 parents who haven’t picked up their students' photo project from the auction, please come and get it in the community space as soon as possible: $30 cash or check
5. We heart our community!
